Minimally invasive implantology is an option for patients with sufficiently strong jaw bone; it is particularly gentle on the bone substance. Since exposing the bone in the implantation area can be avoided, there is much less stress for the jaw. The implant will be inserted into the jawbone via a small borehole through the gums. With this procedure, there will be much less potential postoperative complaints such as inflammations, swelling and pain. The precondition for minimally invasive implantology is exact information about the anatomy of the patient’s jaw, which we procure by means of 3D diagnostics (DVT).
